Legal this, legal that What about moral??? I don't know about Germany, but in my country roundabouts have become straight stupid ever since they've changed the laws a few years back! If there's a roundabout with 3 lanes and you are on the right most lane (inside the roundabout) the inner lanes have to give way to you at all times This means that I could be going in circles for hours in the outer lane and if someone hits me it's their fault 100%. Imagine taking the a left turn at a roundabout from the right-most lane, cutting everyone off. What are the other lanes for then? Legal? Yes. Moral? Clearly no. Don't drive that fast in crowded traffic if you don't have good brakes. Totally the fault of the idiot who didn't signal or check his mirror. This might have been avoided

flashing lights is for further distance than this... the honk was in order... no one honks anymore. the honk is designed to "prevent an immediate danger".

Warum muss man mit so höherer Differenz überhohlen, wo man nicht mehr abbremsen kann wie in solch einem Fall? (Und darum gehts beim Fahren, jederzeit auf die eigene Sicht der Distanz abbremsen zu können) Das würde ich mir nie zutrauen, selbst bei unbeschränkter Autobahn. Völlig Egal wer schuld ist, Tote können keine Schuld mehr tragen... Da mit einer Gopro auf dem Kopf die Intention zum aufnehmen der eigenen Fahrt eingeschlossen wurde, so kann man auch davon ausgehen, das die Aufnahme des Maximaltempo eins der Ziele war. Ich hoffe Sie lernen etwas aus dieser Erfahrung: Ja es gibt immer einen Schuldigen, aber niemand ist unverwundbar, unfehlbar und schon gar nicht unsterblich.

One of the few instances where the comments agree that the POV Top Speed Car shouldnt have driven the Top Speed in Medium-High Traffic. Dont get me wrong i enjoy the unrestricted Autobahn and regularly drive over 200 but only if Traffic (and Gas Money) allows. Even then i keep close Attention to the Cars in front of me. If someone gets onto the Middle lane, i imagine what could happen and what to do like if Theres two cars on the middle lane and if the car might overtake the other car by moving to the right lane etc. After all i dont want more Drivers who like to "Auf mein recht beharren" in a risky situation only to injure, kill or even worse, convince Politicians to set a full Speed Limit on the Autobahn. Remember, its a Highway, not Racetrack so be Carefull.

love that the first reaction was to flash the lights like that gives you priority, sure the driver in front should have noticed them but at the same time his first reaction should have been to brake not flash to try and force their way though!

You can avoid many crashes if you prioritize braking above flashing high beams
