The mistake he did was late indicator i think. Always follow inner mirror, outer mirror, blinker blindspot before changing lanes. Here he started changing lanes without indicating. That must be avoided at any cost.

Germans are 99% good drivers but the 1% left are ridiculous/ over speeding in dense traffic, last second exit cutting the road to other users, flashing lights for people to slow for them, never respecting speed limit when there is one.
